Trace Adkins Set To Release New Album

The country music world is eagerly awaiting the latest album from country megastar Trace Adkins. Titled "X," the new disc will feature the soon-to-be chart-topping first single "Muddy Water," which is beginning to hit country radio airwaves at this time. The new record was produced by Frank Rogers, who has also done studio knob-twiddling for Brad Paisley. Expect this album, hitting the stores just in time for the holiday shopping season, to be a smash hit with fans of country music.

"X" arrives in retail stores on November 25th.

LeAnn Rhimes Forced To Cancel More Concert Dates

On doctor's orders, LeAnn Rhimes has cancelled two concerts scheduled for this weekend in order to rest her vocal cords. Rhimes has called off several performances this year due to vocal illness. Her official website states that the popular country singer will return to performing Oct 17th, a concert date scheduled to take place in Lake Charles, LA.

Cancelled events are as follows:

October 10th Norfolk, Va.
October 11th Charleston, West Va.
